Consultations:
Deborah believes strongly and has extensive experience in working collaboratively with all the relevant people in a child's life, including child care staff, teachers, and other medical specialists that are involved in your child's care.
Deborah can provide child-specific consultations to these key people, or can also provide general consultation sessions, such as consultations regarding possible environmental adjustments to a setting; activities to facilitate sensory, fine and gross motor development; and strategies to promote generalisation of skills across environments.
Professional Learning:
Deborah has had many opportunities to present workshops and professional learning sessions to a varied audience: to parents, child care staff, and teachers. She can tailor the specific needs of an audience, and presentations can range from a short 30 minute session to a practical 2-3 hour workshop.
Mentoring:
Deborah has extensive experience in mentoring students and new graduates and would welcome the opportunity to be a support for a newly qualified occupational therapist as he/she embarks on his/her career in paediatric occupational therapy.
If you are interested in any of the above options, please submit your details on the contacts page.
